Readers Reply Instructions:
- Please do not send individual case descriptions, personal experiences, or questions about a particular case, or general inquiries to an author.
- Please do not submit responses to multiple articles in an issue, or in succession. No particular submitter should dominate the replies.
- Replies should be short (<400 words; <5 references).
- Potential conflicts of interest (employment, consultancies, honoraria, stock ownership or options, expert testimony, grants received or patents received or pending, royalties relevant to the topic discussed) must be listed in the text field. If you have none, indicate "No relevant conflicts of interest" in the text field. This information will be posted with your reply.
- Only replies that have not been published or posted elsewhere should be submitted. By submitting a Reply, you will transfer copyright to AMA if your Reply is posted.
