During the seven years since it was first published, Baker's Neurology has become firmly established as a standard American neurologic reference. The editor, because of the many advances and changes in neurology during this period, has again undertaken the titanic task of bringing out a new edition.

The second edition has the same general format and classification of neurological disorders as the previous one. The editor has brought together the efforts of some sixty-five authors, all well known in neurology and authorities in the particular field on which they write. Many new authors have been added since the last edition, and this offers a new and fresh approach to several sections of the book. The book is well printed, well illustrated, and has an excellent list of references.
