Anesthesia in neurosurgery has always posed special problems and required special techniques. From dealing with the unconscious patient to the positioning of the patient required for surgery, this book offers condensed, useful information. Of interest are the sections covering controlled hypotension and hypothermia and their place in neurosurgery. The book discusses in detail the problems encountered in a wide variety of anesthesia procedures for operation on spinal and intracranial tumors including those occurring in childhood as well as in adults.
