Clinical Neuropsychology is an important reference text that has recently been published in its third edition. Each of the book's 17 chapters is devoted to a review of a clinical syndrome. The comprehensive table of contents ranges across diverse topics such as aphasia, acalculia, apraxia, neglect, and amnesic disorders. Additional chapters are devoted to reviews of the frontal lobes, emotional disorders associated with neurologic diseases, dementia, and recovery and treatment. The introduction briefly reviews several methods commonly used in the neuropsychological investigations described in the remainder of the book. This edition features a new chapter reviewing the neuropsychology of schizophrenia, and several other chapters have been updated since the previous edition. The authors of the chapters are wellrecognized leaders in the field of human neuropsychology, and careful editing by Heilman and Valenstein has led to an even and easily read treatment of a remarkably broad range of topics.
