In the article entitled "Failure to Activate the Left Temporoparietal Cortex in Dyslexia" that appeared in the May 1992 issue of the ARCHIVES (1992;49:527-534), an error appeared in Table 2 on page 531 and in Figure 2 on page 532. No significant change was seen in the right sylvian region in either dyslexics or controls in going from rest to task. Thus, Table 2 and Figure 2 should not show this region as being deactivated in controls. The correct values for this region (means and SDs) are as follows: for controls, at rest, 1.03 (0.29), at task, 1.13 (0.12); for dyslexics, at rest, 1.06 (0.07), at task, 1.10(0.15). . . .
