In Reply.—
We appreciate Swift's correction regarding the Onuf nucleus not being parasympathetic. This nucleus appears to have features of both autonomic and somatic motor neurons. Although both sacral parasympathetic neurons and Onuf's nucleus are spared in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, anatomic locations of these neurons are indeed different.
