With our method and the method of Archer et al,¹ one localizes the center of the 5-mm slice showing the lesion. We agree that the center of the slice may be a small fraction away from the center of the lesion. However, we now² have added to the method by taking advantage of the fact that the midsagittal slice has common grid markings with the axial and coronal slices. In this way the anteroposterior limits of the lesion measured on the axial slice, and the superoinferior limits measured on the coronal slice, can be transferred to the superior and posterior grids on the midsagittal slice, respectively. This addition provides a check of the location of the superoinferior and anteroposterior outer limits of the lesion in relation to the anteroposterior line, and can be carried out at several distances from . . .
