To the Editor.

—The review on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis published in the ARCHIVES1 is very comprehensive and easy to read. It is, therefore, likely to be used by many persons as a current reference on the subject. For this reason, I believe it important to point out that in Table 1 on page 189 the figures describing the sex ratio for the disease have been reversed. It should read M/F:1.6/1 not the reverse as is printed in the table. On page 193, in the section on the androgen receptor, the authors correctly state "...
