To the Editor.
—In the January 1988 issue of the ARCHIVES, Cuadrado et al1 stated that "a defect in T-lymphocyte function predisposes to infection of virulent fungi including Toxoplasma, Cryptococcus, Candida, Aspergillus, Mucoraceae, and Cryptococcus neofor-mans."
I just want to clarify that Toxoplasma is not a fungus but a protozoan.
