In the article entitled "Ischemic Stroke in Adults Younger Than 30 Years of Age," published in the May 1987 issue of the ARCHIVES (1987;44:479-482), an error appeared on page 482, column 2 of text, line 16. The percentage given as "8% " should have been "80%." The sentence reads as follows: "At the end of the follow-up, 8% of the survivors had been able to resume their previous activities, a finding similar to the results of two studies of slightly older patients.18-21" The sentence should have read as follows: "At the end of the follow-up, 80% of the survivors had been able to resume their previous activities, a finding similar to the results of two studies of slightly older patients.18-21"
