In Reply.
—I appreciate the letter of Drs Fisher and Kotsoris. They suggest that some of our patients may have had a quantitative defect in anti-thrombin III. None of our patients was tested for this problem. I thank them for their suggestions; we will check future patients in similar circustances for this defect.
