—I found the article by Roberts et al¹ to be interesting and amusing. Since many young physicians do not understand exactly the term doll's eyes, I would like to add some clarifying remarks.

1. In humans there are not two but three possibilities, ie, the oculocephalic reflex is inhibited in conscious persons, disinhibited (indicating that doll's eyes phenomenon is present) in coma, and abolished in brain-stem lesions.
