News From NINCDS

NINCDS Research Summary Reports Available.

—Four reports are now available summarizing NINCDS research programs and progress made during fiscal year 1984 in the areas of Huntington's disease, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, and stroke.

The summaries, prepared in connection with yearly congressional appropriation hearings, briefly describe research on the causes, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of these disorders. Highlights of intramural and extramural projects show the range of current studies. Forecasts for future avenues of investigation are included.
