In revision, this book has acquired a greater usefulness as a practical and concise outline of neuropathology. In accord with the format, carefully selected information is provided with clarity in a succinct outline form adopted for review. Generally, however, the subject material lacks depth for primary learning and contains some inaccuracies that largely have arisen from oversimplification. Commendable gross illustrations and less elegant photomicrographs are generously supplied. An appendix of neurohistologic techniques and a general bibliography enhance the usefulness.
