This book presents wide-ranging aspects of the entire field of evoked potentials. From the wealth of work presented at the International Evoked Potential Symposium in 1978, 72 reports were selected, revised, and updated for this volume. The book is organized into two parts. Part A deals with the background and perspective of visual, auditory and logical, and clinical correlates of each modality of evoked potential. Part B also touches on evoked-potential methods and data analysis, psychological correlates of evoked potentials (including contingent negative variation), and applicability in multiple sclerosis.
