In Reply.—
We did not intend to imply that cerebral angiography was contraindicated in this clinical situation; for every patient the physician must weigh the risks vs the benefits of this diagnostic procedure. One of the risks is a malpractice claim. We would appreciate Dr Vincent as an expert witness in the half-million dollar suit that has resulted from the angiographic reaction described in our report.
