This book reports the proceedings of a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) conference on the neuropsychology of learning disorders, which was held in Denmark in June 1975. The 30 papers that were presented are grouped under the following headings: epidemiology and social implications, physiological and biochemical correlates, genetic and maturational variables, hemispheric cerebral dominance, perceptual factors, implications of drug studies, and research strategies and models. The papers are generally of good quality and, taken in their totality, they provide a comprehensive overview of the present state of knowledge in this field.
