The latest issue of this Review follows its own tradition of publishing mainly review articles in the area of neurochemistry. Fourteen contributors from psychologic, psychiatric, pharmacologic, pharmaceutic, and biochemical institutions of five countries cover the following areas: amnesia and its relationship to hippocampal lesions, synaptosomal transport processes, glutathione metabolism and possible functions of glutathione in the nervous system, effects of ethanol on the nervous system, octopamine and related noncatecholic amines in invertebrates, chemistry, pharmacology, and biochemistry of apomorphine, and plasma levels of thymoleptic and neuroleptic drugs. A sixpage subject index is provided.
