To the Editor.—
Dr. Boghen rightfully stresses that topically given mydriatic drugs can produce transient pupillary dilation, and Dr. Boghen's personal experience with the pilocarpine test is valuable in this regard. Only general use of this test and time will tell whether topically administered mydriatics are responsible for all cases of transient unilateral pupillary dilation.
