The book sets out to present clearly and concisely the fundamental subject matter of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology. The goal is largely achieved thanks to clear writing, exceptionally lucid drawings, and the effective self-discipline necessary to eliminate material irrelevant for general medical students. Some may caval at the simplicity, but I would be delighted if our students knew this much; and one suspects they would be delighted with the book.
