Symposium. —

A symposium on "Trophic Functions of the Neuron" will be held at the Biltmore Hotel, New York, under the auspices of the New York Academy of Sciences from March 5 through 7, 1973. The symposium will be chaired by Dr. Daniel B. Drachman, and co-chaired by Dr. Alfred A. Smith. It will include both basic and clinical aspects of neurotrophic interactions. Speakers: M. Jacobson, J. C. Eccles, S. Thesleff, M. Singer, D. B. Drachman, L. P. Rowland, A. G. Engel, S. M. Crain, A. J. McComas, W. K. Engel, S. Ochs, E. M. Shooter, and others. Programs may be obtained from the New York Academy of Sciences, 2 E 63rd St, New York 10021.
