This book is written in French for the neurologist unfamiliar with the mathematical language of cybernetics. The authors survey the contributions of computer models to our understanding of a number of neurological processes, from parkinsonian tremor to freudian psychopathology. The book is highly readable and easy to understand, even for the novitiate. Surprisingly, the cerebellum receives only scant attention.
