This manual is designed as a supplement to Elsa Haeussermann's "Developmental Potential of Preschool Children," which was published in 1958. It provides a mechanism for the educational evaluation of preschool children and would be of special interest to teachers of preschool children, as well as others focusing on the educational potential of such children. It is not, however, a stand-ardized test and is not intended to take the place of currently available standardized tests.
Neurologists and pediatricians with a special interest in the educational potential of preschool children will find a review of this manual and the text from which it is derived of considerable interest, and a few may desire to incorporate it into some of the precedures that they regularly utilize in evaluating such children.
