Parkinson Disease Research Center.—

The Parkinson Disease Research Center will hold a two-day symposium of "Corticothalamic Projections and Sensorimotor Activities" at the main auditorium of the College of Psysicians and Surgeons at Columbia University, 640 W 168th St, New York, on October 5 and 6, 1971.

Neurosurgical Society of America.—

At the most recent meeting of the Neurosurgical Society of America, the following officers were elected: President, Frank E. Nulsen, MD; President-Elect, Thomas H. Mason, MD; Vice President, John Shillito, Jr., MD; Secretary, William F. Collins, Jr., MD; Treasurer, Herbert Lourie, MD.

The next meeting of the society will be held at Delmonte Lodge, Pebble Beach, Carmel Calif, March 22 to 25, 1972.
