.... L. Marie, three years old on arrival at the Salpêtrière on July 18, 1867 (Service of Mr. Delasiauve).1
Information given by her mother (March 31, 1879).—Father, 45, in good health.... No neurologic illness in his family. Mother, 40, nervous.... Neither of her parents had neurologic diseases. No consanguinity.
Five children: 1. the patient; 2. and 3. two children who died while with a wet nurse (it is not known if they had convulsions); 4. a ten year old girl, and 5. a seven year old boy, in good health, having never had convulsions.
During pregnancy, the mother went through emotional crises due to the loss of her brother and frequent arguments with her mother-in-law.... The delivery was natural, at term. The child was breast fed by a wet nurse until 14 months of age. During this time she may have had several convulsions restricted to the eyes.
