Award.—

At the annual meeting of the Association for Research in Nervous and Mental Disease, Inc., held in December, an award of $1,000 and a plaque was given to Dr. George A. Jervis.

He was honored for "his outstanding contribution to humanity, represented by over thirty years of enlightened, painstaking research; selfless service and dedicated leadership in the field of Mental Retardation."

Greek Pediatric Society.—

Under the auspices of the International Pediatric Association, the Greek Pediatric Society, in collaboration with the Middle-East and Mediterranean Pediatric Society, is organizing in Athens from Sept 28 to Oct 1, 1969, the Sixth Mediterranean-Middle Eastern Pediatric Congress.
