Dr. Husson has attempted within a short compass to interrelate knowledge from many areas which might bear on the neurology of language. He includes the neuroanatomy of recent memory (as dependent on hippocampomammillary projections), the role of ribonucleic acid, the importance of different forms of sensory input in the acquisition of language, and information derived from the grammatical structure of various languages. There is little new in the way of fact, and most neurologists believe it is too early to connect the isolated, if valuable, insights obtained by various disciplines.
