This soft cover book contains the abstracts of the papers given at the International Neurochemical Conference held in Oxford, England, in 1965.
Most of the abstracts are less than 300 words in length and offer very little data or references. The authors are listed at the end of the book but there is no subject index.
Although most of the papers deal with the biochemical changes observed in normal brain development, a few abstracts discuss the pathogenesis of neurological diseases.
In spite of the shortcomings of this type of publication, the abstracts seem to cover the main points made in each presentation. Furthermore, most of these papers have appeared in more detail in various journals in the last few years.
