The proceedings of the 17th Congress of Neurologists held in Goteborg, Sweden, August 27-29, 1964, are reported in this publication. A wide variety of technical procedures now in common use in neurology, including echo-encephalography, electromyography, nerve conduction, procedures for measuring cerebral blood flow, special studies on cerebrospinal fluid, and chemical examination of neural biopsy material are all included. In addition to details concerning technical aspects of these procedures, critical discussions as to their use in diagnosis and therapeutic aspects of clinical neurology are indicated.
