This volume presents the transactions of the Fourth Conference held under the auspices of the American Neurological Association and the American Heart Association at Princeton, NJ, in January 1964. It encompasses most of the major areas of clinical and laboratory research relating to cerebral vascular disease. Different authors review significant radiologic contributions such as cinefluorographic and subtraction techniques in angiography as well as complications of angiography. Research methods available for the study of cerebral blood flow are discussed. Several authors present the current knowledge of the significance of occlusive disease of the subclavian artery and reversal of flow in the ipsilateral vertebral artery. Experimental and clinical results of hyperbaric oxygenation in the treatment of cerebral hypoxia are reviewed. Those clinicians who have had widest experience in the areas of anticoagulant and surgical therapy in cerebral vascular disease present their results and their interpretations of the current value of these forms . . .
