This volume contains the papers presented at a symposium on Interdisciplinary Research as it applies to behavior, held at the University of Wisconsin. It was published on Dec. 5, 1958. The preface opens with a provocative sentence, "One of the most important developments in the biological sciences during the last fifty years has been the growth of interdisciplinary research." Cited are the illumination that has resulted from the correlation of psychological and anatomic data, and, as more recent evidence of triumph, the fruits of correlation of behavior with data from other biological sciences. The volume is beautifully put together, well printed and arranged, and contains the facts and views of a number of able investigators.
