Sports Neuropsychology sets out to present the topic of concussion management in sports and introduce the growing role of a neuropsychology in this area. This book briefly reviews the mechanism of concussions, presents the epidemiology of concussions in sports, discusses concussion management programs at various levels of sport, and introduces the use of computerized neuropsychological test batteries for brief postconcussive assessments and to assist in return-to-play decisions.
