This easy-to-carry handbook has been updated in its second edition. It is a concisely written practical guide containing all the essentials needed to address the major areas of epilepsy management.

The last decade has seen some considerable advances in the field of epilepsy, in particular the great number of newly released drugs and new treatment options, like vagus nerve stimulation, and the characterization of new epilepsy syndromes with the help of genetics.
