The second edition of Diseases of the Nervous System in Childhood, written by internationally respected clinician and teacher, Jean Aicardi, MD, is both comprehensive and concise. As in the first edition, the book has a resolute clinical orientation, and the overall outline and organization remain constant. Extensive updating to keep pace with recent advances in diagnosis and therapy provides the clinician with an authoritative, up-to-date reference book.

Discussions of pathophysiology and basic science are presented in a clinically relevant fashion. The well-organized, comprehensive index will help the reader use the book efficiently.
