Dr Robert J. Joynt Honored by the University of Iowa College of Medicine

THIS IS THE SECOND YEAR of the University of Iowa College of Medicine Distinguished Alumni Awards program. The award is conferred upon former students and colleagues who have transcended their fundamental roles as health care providers to become influential participants in the advancement of the art and science of medicine. Nominations for the award were submitted by peers and colleagues.

Robert J. Joynt, MD, PhD, Distinguished University Professor and professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, was recently honored with the 1999 University of Iowa College of Medicine Distinguished Alumni Award for Achievement.
