Abstract

• Acute encephalopathy and an abnormal electroencephalogramwith a periodic sharp wave pattern developed in a 58-year-oldwoman shortly after she received a few doses of baclofen. Theclinical and electroencephalographic abnormalities improvedpromptly after the medication was discontinued.
