Abstract
Controversies thrive on soft data and hardened views, but from time to time the facts force agreement. In this issue, the "controversies" section features one of several periodic contributions on topics where the weight of the evidence has shaped a consensus.
As agreement follows disagreement, so new facts or changing circumstances may render comfortable unanimity into challenged obsolescence. A consensus is but a pause between controversies.
