Recurrent thyrotoxicosis and papilledema in a patient with communicating hydrocephalus

A patient with communicating hydrocephalus had recurrent papilledema during
episodes of thyrotoxicosis. Increased intracranial pressure was documented
and, as reflected by the severity of the papilledema, fluctuated in
proportion to the thyroid hormone levels.
