Computed Cranial Tomography in Congenital Rubella Syndrome

Abstract

• Eleven computed tomographic scans of five patients with congenital rubella syndrome were examined. In three patients, low density in the white matter of the centrum ovale was found; in four, there was a low-density area in the periventricular white matter; and in two, there were multiple calcified nodules in the white matter and calcification in the basal ganglia.
