Papilledema in Guillain-Barré Syndrome

A Case Report

Kevin Farrell, MB; Alan Hill, PhD, MD; Sylvester Chuang, MD

Arch Neurol. 1981;38(1):55-57.

Abstract

• Papilledema developed in an 8-year-old girl with Guillain-Barré syndrome. Computerized tomography (CT) and redionuclide cisternography demonstrated the presence of communicating hydrocephalus. The spontaneous resolution of the papilledema and communicating hydrocephalus occurred during a six-month period. The ventricular changes were followed by serial CT scans.
