Familial Incidence of Ruptured Intracranial Aneurysms

Report of 12 Cases

Gaston J. Acosta-Rua, MD

Arch Neurol. 1978;35(10):675-677.

Abstract

• Twelve cases of ruptured intracranial aneurysms occurring in six families are reported in an attempt to support the hereditary disease concept. Further genetic and epidemiological studies of aneurysm patients are necessary to confirm this hypothesis.
