Anterior Interosseous Nerve Palsy

Abstract

Paralysis of the anterior interosseous branch of the median nerve presents a characteristic clinical picture of inability to flex the terminal phalanges of the thumb and index finger. Such a paralysis constitutes a substantial handicap. The causes and methods of treatment are varied. In the present patient, spontaneous resolution occurred.
