Cerebellar Toxic Effects From Nitrofurantoin

Abstract
A 73-year-old man developed progressive peripheral neuropathy and cerebellar dysfunction during prolonged therapy with nitrofurantoin. Nitrofurantoin toxicity is similar to that of diphenylhydantoin sodium.
