Voluntary Nystagmus in Two Generations

Michael J. Keyes, MD

Arch Neurol. 1973;29(1):63-64.

Abstract

The mother and three of three siblings in a family can produce voluntary nystagmus. The phenomenon has been observed among siblings previously, but never in two generations. It is suggested that a dominant trait with high penetrance is involved.
