Abstract
Plasminogen concentrations in normal and abnormal cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) were studied. Normal CSF contained none or only trace amounts of plasminogen, whereas higher levels of plasminogen were found in CSF from patients with various neurological disorders. There was no special trend for the increased plasminogen to be associated with any particular neurological disease. Good correlation was noted between CSF plasminogen and protein values.
